Banana Boats Recipe

Bananas are full of potassium, low in calories, and perfect for Paleo cooking. This banana recipe utilizes their versatility to create fun treats for kids and adults. Make this banana boat recipe with your kids, or for your next party. Use this simple recipe as it is, or customize it to fit your family’s likes.

 

4 Bananas
1/2 cup Nut Butter (Almond, Cashew, Peanut)
1/4 cup Nuts (Almonds, Peanuts, Walnuts, etc)
1/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup Blueberries
1/4 cup Shredded Coconut
Lemon Juice

 

  1. Cut all 4 of your bananas in half lengthwise and lay them down on a foil lined baking sheet.
  2. Brush all of the bananas halves with lemon juice to prevent them from browning overtime.
  3. Spread the almond butter on the bananas, then sprinkle the remaining ingredients on them.
  4. Tent the cookie sheet with foil and place it in the freezer. Freeze the bananas overnight then serve.
